Kid's Guernica is an internationally traveling series of murals designed by youth under the direction of artists. Each mural, painted on grometted canvas, is the size of Picasso's Guernica ( 12 X 25 ft.) and addresses the theme of world peace through the eyes of children. To this point, the murals have been to more than fifty countries, with each sponsoring country adding another work to the series. This piece was painted over three days at the Richmond Art Centre, the Canadian host. Twelve murals were subsequently shown at the International Airport in Richmond.
