Inside Out Havana

Decayed colonial architecture is omnipresent in Cuban cities, and i made numerous drawings during my first visit to Cuba in 2001. I was interested in the 'inside out ' aspect of deteriorated buildings, and the adaptation that Cuban people have made in order to make these habitable. Reconstruction is slowly taking place in Havana and elsewhere in the country.
